Young Bride & Groom was established 20 years ago. The proprietors, Sharon and Victor Young, aim to give brides and grooms the best possible selection of styles for their weddings with a high level of friendly and helpful service. This has been demonstrated by our twice winning national service awards, in response to customers' recommendations.
Our Bridal Department maintains this standard with excellent designs from leading manufacturers in the UK and the continent. Finding the right dress for you is only the beginning. It is essential that service continues through the order period to collection.
We are one of only a very few stores in the UK to have full time seamstresses in our on site workrooms, thus ensuring that you will have the highest level of service from the day you purchase your dress, through fittings to collection. Your dress and accessories will be pressed ready for your wedding day and our service is not complete until we have helped you put your gown in your car.
We pride ourselves on our menswear hire. Our experienced staff, in the mens hire department, will help you through the complexities of colour co-ordinating your morning wear with the wedding colour scheme.
The day you choose your wedding dress and men's formal wear is not the end of a sale, but the start of a relationship between you and us. Relax and enjoy the build up to your wedding, we'll do the worrying for you!

Our Collection embraces the most exciting wedding dresses from bridal fashion houses around the world. We look for innovative bridal designers, using quality fabrics and superior structure. Styling, either contemporary or classic, must offer brides a new and unique look for the wedding day, with a blend of charm and character.
Our extensive range of bridal wear, is constantly changing and we invite customers to view our bridal collections in store. All dresses are to buy (not for hire). Wedding dresses are usually specially ordered for your wedding, requiring a minimum order period of twelve weeks, so keep this in mind and call to book an appointment to view our wedding dress collections.

Our menswear hire department offers an outstanding collection of exclusive, high quality formal wear, backed by an impressive level of personal service, subtly styled to cover a wide range of occasions from formal to flamboyant.
Morning Wear styles include Morning Suits, Frock Coats and Prince Edward Jackets many in ultra lightweight fabrics suitable for weddings in summer and abroad. Colours stocked are black, navy, grey, brown, beige and white (other shades may be specially ordered to buy) Highland Wear is also available.
Evening Wear includes Dinner Suits, White Tuxedo Jackets, White Tie Evening Tails and Highland Wear.
Our styles are complemented by an exclusive range of constantly updated waistcoats, cravats, ruches and ties for hire. We are also pleased to offer these to buy in over 300 colours of silk or alternatively, made with your own fabric.
Additionally we specialise in made to measure suits in a wide range of fabrics at a fraction of West End prices.
Back to topFor many years we have searched for bridesmaids dresses which combine style and sophistication to complement our brides. Watters & Watters offer all this and more - their outstanding styling and beautiful fabrics are perfect for both formal and informal weddings and have the added bonus of making great evening dresses!
Whilst we carry the full range of bridesmaids styles, special ordering is advisable in view of the number of colours and range of fabrics. Orders take approximately nine weeks and you should allow a further three weeks for alterations. However if you're pushed for time we can usually pull the stops out as we carry stock on the most popular styles and colours.
